Crystal Palace believes it can agree to a new agreement with manager Roy Hodgson
Reportedly, the former England national team is restless without a signature at the club.
However, the hierarchy wants to start a discussion and confirm the new one-year agreement.
Crystal Palace wants to sign a new contract with Roy Hodgson that will continue to be a manager after his 73rd birthday.
The current deal with Hodgson and Selhurst Park expired at the end of the season, and the Eagles hierarchy is planning for the next season in the hope that a former English coach will take command.
Both sides are discussing new deals for the year, from the beginning of the season to 2021.
The extension of Hodgson, 72, and the oldest coach in the Premier League, seemed official after the impressive start of the palace season.
However, they have suffered a crippling injury crisis that has contributed to their streak, including six in their last 11 games.
They slipped through the table by the age of 15, and also experienced a third-round loss of the FA Cup at home with Derby. Palace was also disappointed with its attempt to strengthen the transfer market in January.
Defeated by West Ham in Hal Jarrod Bowen’s striker race, seeing £ 10 million move due to collapse of West Brom Nathan Ferguson due to knee injury, plus adding Cenk to loan forward sign Now Tosun, on his team
However, Palace is on track to maintain his Premier League status for three consecutive seasons under former England coach Hodgson, who will be 73 in August.
The Eagles hierarchy also believes that Hodgson could resolve any concerns it might have about the club’s transfer plan after two disappointment windows and give him assurance that he needs to maintain responsibility.
