“Just declared my retirement from all types of cricket. Even though I have not been fiddling much over the past 1 year, it has been one of the most difficult things I have experienced in my life. Thank you @BCCI @goacricket11 with genuine gratitude for making me go through my dream for the past 23 years,” posted Jakati, a steady-left arm orthodox spinner. He had taken 275 wickets from 92 initial-class matches. Jakati established his initial-class debut in the 1998/99 season and fiddled his last initial-class game in rival to Punjab in October 2017. He, although, could never produce it to the Indian team. At this point, as I see back at my progress I wish to give gratitude with sincere thanks to my family, friends who have been there by me all the moment. @BCCI #GCA, senior cricketers, all my fellow teammates, assisting staff with whom I have given moments which I shall thank all my life,” he further posted.
