Croatia’s international Mario Pasharich completes a € 15 million transfer from Chelsea’s parent club at the end of the season, six years after moving to West London from Hajduk Split.
The 25-year-old has never appeared in Chelsea, who has been in Stanford Bridge’s book for six years, but has spent time renting from Elche, Monaco, AC Milan, Spartak Moscow, and more recently from Atalanta.
Pasharich is now three-quarters of a two-year loan in Bergamo and was expected to return to Chelsea at the end of the season, but Fabrizio Romano reports that he will permanently join Atalanta for € 15 million this summer doing.
The German midfielder has appeared in the club 70 times in all competitions, scoring 14 goals. This includes one match against AS Roma this weekend.
Pasharich had a contract with Chelsea until 2022.
The 25-year-old was one of the player groups that Chelsea frequently lent in recent years.
They were taken to the club at an early age, but had no access to the first team.
Players like Kenneth Omeruo and Ola Aina have already secured permanent moves outside Chelsea for the first football team abroad, but Nathan, Lucas Pearson, Louis Baker and Charlie Players like Mussonda are still signed at Stanford Bridge.
However, Pasharich seems to be finally ready to complete the off-club permanent movement at the end of the season.
Chelsea first signed Pashalic de Hajduk Split for 2.5 million euros in 2014 and was immediately rented to Elche, Spain.
For six years at the club, Pasharich had not been given any high-level performers, and only left the field as a Chelsea player during a preseason friendly with Perth Glory.
