He said, “You can also criticise us and say this is maybe dangerous. But it’s not up to me to make the calls about what is right or wrong for health. We are doing what the Serbian government is telling us,”

Tennis players Corona Positive

Two tennis players ranked among the top 40 in the world and five players at Serbia’s biggest soccer club have tested positive for the virus.

Rafael Nadal says, “Novak Djokovic will need to be vaccinated to keep playing if the governing bodies of tennis make coronavirus shots obligatory once they become available”.

Coric tests positive

Croatia’s Borna Coric announced on Monday he has tested positive for Coronavirus . Coric said: “I want to make sure anyone who has been in contact with me during the last few days gets tested! I am really sorry for any harm I might have caused! I’m feeling well and don’t have any symptoms (sic). Please stay safe and healthy! Lots of love to all!”

Now, Djokovic’s fitness coach Marco Panichi has also tested positive for the virus. Hence Djokovic is in trouble now.

Nikola Jankovic positive

Not only Dimitrov and Coric tested Positive but also Nikola Jankovic also got tested positive after the match though he had no symptoms!“Before coming to Zadar, Grigor was in his country. We don’t know if he was infected there, but it is certain that everyone who was in close contact with him will be tested tonight,” Djordje told reporters.

Evans said, “I just think it’s a poor example to set.

Djokovic face trouble

The first part of the tour was won by Austrian Dominic Thiem in Belgrade, Serbia. Around 4,000 fans came to watch it. The event concluded with players dancing close together in a Belgrade nightclub. So it’s quite clear that they all ignored the norms of social distancing and such careless attitude in this pandemic situation is very unacceptable.

Djokovic Covid19

Djokovic’s own Coronavirus test results will be announced at 1745 CET/1545 GMT on Tuesday.

 Murray’s response

I have always had a good relationship with Novak,” Murray said last night.

He added, “In hindsight, with what’s happened there, it is not a good look. When you are going through a time like this, it’s important any of the top athletes around the world should be showing that we are taking this extremely seriously, knowing that we are using social distancing measures and whatever it is.”

 Djokovic coronavirus, Djokovic in trouble

Murray said, “I hope that we learn from it and, off the back of it, they will be taking it extremely seriously because, ultimately, the Tour won’t get back again if we are having problems every single week and the players are doing what they want. We need to make sure we are doing the right thing.”

Whatever Murray’s intention to be charitable to Djokovic, those are tough words. And they are on the money. Djokovic has always lived in a different bubble, though.

Murray is not sure when the situation will be better.”I have no idea what happens in the future,” he said. “
