The 152nd running of the Belmont Stakes will be live from 20 June 2020. The Belmont Stakes is run on the largest track in North America at Belmont Park. It is normally the third and the final leg of the Triple Crown but this time the things have been scheduled differently. The race has been shortened from 1 1/2 miles to 1 1/8 miles due to this pandemic scenario. but quite excited about this weekend’s live show because the Kentucky Derby and preakness stakes were moved back due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Kentucky Derby will start from September 3 and the Preakness will begin from Oct 3. The Belmont Stakes will be later this time  than normal and will also be staged without fans. But what’s staying the same is, there will be horses racing outside of New York City and you can place bets on them.

Belmont Stakes 2020 Jockeys:

After Nadal maxfield withdrew Tiz The Law enters the race and leads 152nd Belmont stakes odds. Charlatan and Maxfield withdrew because of some ankle pain issues. Nadal also fractured his leg and got retired. And this makes the chances for Tiz The Law’s victory easier too. He will run out from the 8th gate and in Belmont history only five times horses won out from that particular position. But in an interview the trainer Barclay Tagg said, “I don’t want to sound like an idiot but I wasn’t too worried anyway”. He also said, “I just felt so good about the Colt I kept my attention on him and didn’t worry about anybody else”.

Which Jockey Has the highest chances of winning:

When you look at the field, there will be a few, who can take away the victory. The first name that comes into your mind is none other than Tiz The Law. He has recently won the Florida Derby and was treated as one of the favourites in the Kentucky Derby. The second name that comes into our mind is of Dr. Post. But this year the number of variables in the play makes it more difficult to predict. Like Dr. Post has very lesser experience under this term. Again the short distance can also spoil the victory of Tiz The Law. And if you talk about trainer Tod Pletcher, he is quite familiar with this.

Which are the best winning positions?

If we talk about the best positions then we need to go to the flashback. Because history says that post number one has produced most winners since 1990. Then we can keep number 3 and number 5 in the second rank as we got 13 winners from these two positions and then comes number to as it has given 11 winners.

Trainers with better winning history!

Marks Casse, has a very stronger chance and an amazing victory history and next we should also mention the letter. The third name with a superb victory history is Steve Asmussen.
