Another decade of international cricket is almost over and with just a month left to go into the New Year.

In the last 10 years, cricket has undergone a lot of changes – three world champions in 50 overs in cricket, the ICC World Test Championship debut, the Pink Ball Test, and the introduction of the Decision Review System in limited-overs cricket.

Over the past decade, countries such as Australia, India, England, and New Zealand have become the largest Uno team in world cricket in all three formats.

Many players made their own impression during this period, and many did not meet expectations.

But there is also a player who has dominated world cricket like the past 10 years.
The rise of Virat Kohli in the last ten years has been incredible. The Delhi cricketer has made his mark as the highest run-scorer in all three formats in this decade.

Virat Kohli closes decade with most runs, hundreds of years, gets, man of the match grants – Details

No other player in the history of the game has scored more runs in a decade than Virat Kohli. The 31-year-old said they would like to say the least.

Kohli finished the year with a stunning century in the Pink Ball Test against Bangladesh, becoming the first Indian to score triple figures in the Day-Night Test. This is just one of many records in the last ten years.

Kohli entered international cricket in 2008, but it was within this decade that he truly came into his own and won the World Ination Hall.

When he first appeared on the international scene, Kohli was considered a ruthless, young and controversial cricketer who seemed to have lost his way because of fame and fortune.

Kohli scored but struggled with consistency in the first two years of international cricket.
But he quickly realized where things were going wrong, changed his ways with his diet and training, and became a modern man for the next ten years.

It is safe to say that this decade belongs entirely to Virat Kohli.

Virat Kohli has scored a total of 20,688 runs from 380 international matches and is the only batsman to have averaged more than 50 in three formats in the history of the game. He scored 8818 in Tests, 11036 in ODIs and 2450 in T20s.

Kohli tops the ODIs and T20s this decade, behind former England captain Alastair Cook in Tests.

To put things into perspective, the next best batsman on the list is South Africa’s Hashim Amla with 15185 runs, which is less than 5000 by the 2010 Indian Run Machine.

De Villiers (12820) and India opener Rohit Sharma (12430) are England Test captain Joe Root (13,805), former Proteas captain AB top five.

On June 27, Kohli became the fastest man to break the 20,000-run mark in international cricket during the 50-over World Cup in England, a record held by two great batsmen – Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara.

Kohli fielded only once in his 417th innings. Tendulkar and Lara scored 453 innings to reach this milestone, while Ricky Ponting scored 20,000 international runs in 468 innings.

Overall, Virat Kohli became the 12th batsman and third Indian to score 20 international runs after Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid.

Team India’s Test allotments take place annually, but they remain 6 international matches before the end of 2019, which means Virat Kohli has yet to strengthen his place in the top spot in international cricket’s batting charts. Sports intersect.

But it will be a tough race, with two more Tests to be played before the end of the year, with Joe Root and Rohit Sharma finishing third with the English captain.

Meanwhile, the Indian limited-overs captain must try 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is against the West Indies and completed Root’s talent.
