On West Indies’ loss to India in the third T20 Internationals, Kieron Pollard said that the team has always failed to execute their plans. It is their history.

West Indies lost by 67 runs in the series. India scored a huge 240 runs with batting first with KL Rahul scoring 91 runs, Rohit Sharma scoring 71 runs and Virat Kohli scored 70 runs, not out.

West Indies scored only 173 for 8 and India won comfortably while sealing the series.
Pollard told the reporters that team India was ahead with 240 runs.

He agreed that India had a good start but West Indies also got a couple of wickets that brought them back in the game. When they had the chance, they did not execute their plans well. This is the area where they believe that they need to improve.

He further said that they could have scored the required runs easily. They have done it before. They scored 230 against South Africa, and 220 runs in 2016.

He said that when Evin was out, other teammates had to put in the extra effort. Even getting out did not help their cause.

Even after losing the series, Pollard still has a positive attitude. He said that their batting has been consistent. The team had scored 200, 170 and 170-odd in the last 12-18 months.

It looks like a positive step. The team also has a positive outlook. They did not go over the line but it still was a big step in the series.

The whole team has been positive and performed well. Williams also bowled well and young Walshy bowled well. He is finding his footing. Pollard said that the team stood up for themselves and their still room for improvement.

He also had thoughts about the Indian team. He said that Virat Kohli gave an excellent performance. For Rohit Sharma, he said that he did not perform well in the first two matches but in the last match he took his chances and showed that he is a class batsman.

Pollard said that he has played in many different situations and sat in the dressing room with many legends. Even though he is not the captain of the team but he still, as a skipper, tries to boost up the confidence of the team.
